What DMX controller do you recommend?

Which DMX controller does everyone recommend for two pocket pro moving heads and six mega hex par RGBWA’s. I am a newbie to DMX lighting, and this will be for a permanent install for different bands that show up. I bought the DMX operator 384 for the joystick control of the moving heads, but struggling to get it to work. I would also like dimming control within preprogrammed scenes& not Abe to do that either.

it's self contained and can run MANY effects to the beat, just needs someone to tap the beat in etc. it's a "software" type controller, but doesn't need a computer unless you need to add profiles or back up the currently saved show.
