vms4, traktor and mac

Hello guys... hope somebody can help me...
I got me a macbook last friday... installed Traktor Pro. Then updated with the mac firmware updater. My problem now is that Traktor won't get any midisignals from the vms4. At least the Ctrl doesn't light up when i use the vms. I'm freaking out... With Virtual DJ it works pretty fine, but I'd prefer to use the vms with Traktor Pro.

what traktor version are you using?

can you also elaborate your exact steps you did so far?

I have traktor 1.2.6... installed first traktor pro, then updated with mac firmware updater and then connected the vms4. as i figured out its not working i installed virtual dj. the vms4 works so far with virtual dj

DJippedayha make sure that you are not running Virtual DJ when you open Traktor.

2. also make sure under the Midi controll manager in Traktot that you have the VMS4 in the " in-port" and "Out port" section

this is not enough info. what did you after you installed traktor??? please be more exact now.

• did you choose the vms asio driver in the audio settings?
  
• did you import a mapping for the vms from somewhere?
