I sold my VMS4, as I just could not live with the excessive weight of the unit and wasn't too happy about the analogue quality.

I bought it in the first place because I wanted a all-in-one unit so I have less to pack for on the road, but I miscalculated the weight of the unit, alas.

The person I sold it to, had no complaints, and can live with the extra weight.
I JUST got my unit yesterday (around the same time as the review was posted) and, though I'm nonplussed by the review, I'm so far VERY happy with my unit.

Now, I have a show tonight, soundchecking in about an hour, in a live club setting, one of my two weekly gigs, so we'll see how that goes.
I checked out the review as well. I have only 1 problem with the unit and that's im getting this digital feedback distortion when i record. I have played with the latency and checked everything i could think of. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to help me out AA. Anyway the review was good and i have a thing about others reviewing a product in competition with others. Granted it needs work, and i can say that if you have called AA about it they work with you and i can say they will go the extra mile. I called today and spoke to them got an RA to return my unit to check the sound card. They called me back 10 minutes later on their own to get more information about the issues. They will work out the issues just hang in there.
You don't hear me complaining or reviewing the AA service.

I posted it because reviews give a good overview of the capabilities and possible improvements that can be done.
I see this forum is becomming a big pool of complaints and no decent overview of what is really the cause of the complaints.
