I'm on windows 7 and my setup basicly goes USB to VMS4 to Monitors via XLR.
When i bought my VMS4 it had this problem and how i got it working is a complete mystery. now, about a year later it's done it again.

I already have the ASIO driver installed and virtual DJ LE (which is shit btw)and as i say i had it working for a good while.
When i plug in my VMS4 it works perfectly in that i can control the track with all funtions, except there is no audio. at all. when it worked you could have audio coming from both my firefox window and VDJ LE at the same time, but now you can't get audio through it from any source on my computer including windows media player etc.

however it's even more odd because the 2 green levels in the middle that represent volume on the VMS4 still show that there's audio coming out and can be adjusted with the gain dials.

After checking my settings havent changed on the ASIO screen or in my sound driver devices this led me to the conclusion that it must be the monitors. but i took it round to friend's house who has virtually the same setup (add a mixer after the VMS4) and it still didn't work on his either.

it might be worth mentioning that i did notice in my sound devices menu that there were 2 identical drivers installed. i deleted one but it made no difference.

if anyone can help me with this it would be more than appreciated because it's absolutely DOING MY HEAD IN.

P.s. when i took it to my friend's that time we managed to get it working on his computer through an old version of virtual dj pro but without any lights or funtions other than the faders we assigned.
