Vms4 mapping

what (exact) traktor version are you using?

b)
what soundcard are you trying to use?

I'm using the latest version of traktor pro and as far as sound cards go I'm unsure, assumed I was using the sound card that came equipped with the Vms4.

please verify that you're really using traktor 1.2.6 - click on the traktor logo to find that out.

(the reason behind this: tsi's made with newer traktor versions may not run on older traktor versions)

then open traktor's preferences > audio setup and choose something like "ADJ ASIO" or "VMS ASIO" (i dont have the exact name handy right now, but it should be sth obvious plus the word ASIO).

Being that it is the latest version, I'm still not getting any response from my midilog on the controller.

Are you getting any message in a red bar when you import the TSI file to Traktor. You mentioned your new to Traktor your not double clicking on the TSI file? Common newbie mistake. Did you list populate in the Control manager panel if so make sure you select the VMS4 in the In port and out port. You also have to make sure you select a connected audio source.

-Update-I believe I've imported the tsi (DJ Fresh Fluke's) correctly, so the midilog channels work correctly except the crossfader. The only issue I'm dealing with now is that, in Traktor nothing is displayed being adjusted (EQ's) when I'm playing.

check that you have chosen external mixer mode in traktors preferences.

my mapping is made for external mixer mode, that's why you dont see traktors EQs doing sth.
