try to turn vms4 eq knob to 45 degrees
now watch software eq and note that rotates 90 degrees....try midi tester,vms4 sends false midi messages

Well you may want to bring that one back to the store , and get the new vms4 that works with traktor, that was just released yesterday, or switch over to vj
is my second vms4 and the problem was in the first
