VMS4 - Deckadance mapping trouble

Using the midi learn feature of deckadance, trying to use VMS4 controller. Not a smooth process. Just trying to map some basic functions like the crossfader - it crossfades, but to the opposite deck (VMS4 crossfader all the way left pushes the software crossfader to the right deck). I tried the VMS4 reverse switch - no difference. Mapping a VMS 4 headphone cue button to the software seems to send only the main mix to the headphones, not the cue mix.

Deckadance mapped no problem with another controller.

VMS4 seems to work fine out of the box with the VirtualDJ software included.

Any ideas/thoughts for deckadance specifically?

I'm not familiar with Deckadance in particular. But on Traktor there should be an option to reverse the control output.

If not, an easy fix is just rotate the crossfader 180 degrees

.

Regarding the cue function I'd suggest don't map cue functions in software because the VMS4 will cue the channel USB audio internally.

Also does Deckadance have an external mixer option? This will make your mapping much easier.
