VMS4+Cubase?

If i understand correct what you want to do, then no you can't use VDJ with cubase. BUT I do know that Deckadance (dj software) does have the possibility to use it as VST plugin inside a host such as Ableton. I guess it should be possible with Cubase as well. Deckadance and Ableton i know is definitely possible. And I guess you could then also use the VMS4's midi inside ableton as well.

Ok thanks man, the thing i like to do is to rout the mic input from the vms4 trough cubase and its VSTs and then i want to use the vms4 outputs for that signal.

You don't need Cubase to get access to VSTs.

Virtual DJ (full version) can use VSTs, and so can other DJ sofware.

Cool, thanks for that information! didn't know that! but how do i use a f.e. autotune vst on the mics? i can only activate it on deck 1 and 2

Well the VMS4 doesn't have a separate dedicated output for the mic, so you can't add effect to just the mic channel.

You need a proper studio mixing desk for that sort of thing - if you've already got Cubase and AutoTune it surprises me that you don't have one and don't seem to know about it.

Why'd you need AutoTune anyway - are you an off key singing DJ?

is there really no way to route the mic trough that autotune? =/

The mic channel on the VMS4 is in the mixer portion of the unit and is therefore not routed back to the software.
