"" nullsoft directsound output v2.6 (d) error
bad directsound driver please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration error code 80004005"

on the drop down menu on winamp your only choices are nullsoft directsound or vms4. there is not a third chice to pick asio. seemsto be a problem of winamp not talking to vms4 and this karaoke program uses winamp.

on my other compeuters where i am using a rne mp4 there is not a problem it uses primarey sound from the computer and runs right thru one channel on the mixer. same thing if i use the laptop on say a mackie 8 channel mixer using usb connection
I would check the Winamp forums. There are ways of adding drivers into the code of Winamp since it is open source. But I forget off the top of my head how to do it since it has been years since I have had to.

The guru's there should be able to help since it seems to be on that end as you have stated.
