VMS4 and Traktor Pro 2

Hi there,

This may have been posted before and answered but I couldn't find anything after searching for a while.

The main issue I am having is recording from the VMS4 through Traktor and getting playback. If I record using the external option I get nothing but silence and if I record internally it records everything e.g track being played, track being cued up over the track being played.

There is probably a simple solution to this but I'll be honest it has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, yea, it's been discussed but I don't mind helping.

External mode, you have right. My VMS4 is in the 8-out mode. My channels is set as follows in the ADJ driver(8-out mode):
Midilog 1=ch5/6
Midilog 2=ch1/2
Midilog 3=ch3/4
Midilog 4=ch7/8
Rec = ch5/6

Traktor:
Deck A = Out1/2
Deck B = Out3/4
Deck C = Out5/6
Deck D = Out7/8
Same goes for Inputs

Switch Record mode to external and use Deck C (That's what it's set to in the ADJ driver, Rec ch5/6.) When using this setup, you can record you loops to the loop recorder as well.

I have a different configuration to you but with a few minor tweaks I have managed to record ok.
