VMS4.1 Vinyl Mode Not Working on Right Deck

It would seem the touch sensitive has stopped working for some reason.

i had the same problem with my vms and traktor pro, suddenly the left jogwheel doesn´t work in scratch mode.
my problem was the usb-cable, there was a little break in it.
and so the commands from the vms to the software won´t be correct evaluated.
after i located the problem i changed the usb-cable and now the vms works fine like the first day.
perhaps you have the same problem with the usb-cable. have you tried to changed the cable and looked what happend?

I had a similar issue last night.

the left jog wheel on deck 1 would stutter on its own, as if i was touching it, i was able to make it stop by disabling the vinyl button. i was able to finish my gig thankfully, but then ran into another issue toward the end of the night. the deck 1 pitch fader stopped responding and the songs for some reason, would auto pitch up/down DURING play if i were to drop a track into deck 2, like it was trying to match deck 2's track bpm for whatever reason.

but it could also be the fact i'm not running my vms4.1 the proper way.

8 out, 1 analog, 2 usb, 3 usb, 4 analog, and i have decks 1&3 on same channel(2) and 2&4 on same channel(3). using VDJ

I never had any issues like this with Windows 7, although i did have that scratchy sound issue once that people have also mentioned. i was able to just turn the unit off/on and it went away. might be the fact i upgraded to windows 8?

first thing though, im buying the most high quality USB cable i can find, does anyone have any suggestions? i want to fix this issue ASAP

When have you made your Last Update for your Windows?
I think Windows will have any Problems with his Energy Management for the USB-Ports.
I have any Problems with other devices thats Works correctly before i did a Update.
I also had a Problem with the Framework after installing the Update, Windows crashed it by installing the Update and after this a lot of Programmes i Used are not working.

Have you Used the vms with a other Notebook?
What happend if you use it with a mac, same problem?
