VMS2 Jogwheels not working

Hi I bought a VMS2 the day after Christmas and Recently the Jog wheels stopped working and it won't turn off. It also will not let me use the controller without the Power cord plugged in. I have Emailed the tech support twice and I can haven't gotten any response in a week.
Is there a way I can fix this, I have tried re-installing the drivers on 3 computers, and I have also tried changing modes and had no luck.
If there is something that I am missing help me please.

When you say the jog wheels aren't working do you mean there is no response on the software? If that is the case I'd try re importing the map. What software are you using?
As for the power issue has it ever work from the USB port only without the main adapter? Personally when I used controllers I always use the external power source to but that was my preference.

Hmmm...I had the experience of my VMS4.1 turning off one day when I touched them and had static electricity. I powered back on and no issues...if things were working before and not now...could it perhaps be an electrical issue? I say this because you said you have reinstalled, etc. As DJ REDSS asked, did it ever work without the adapter?
