Hey guys,
Ain't been here for a while but I just bought a VMS2. Unit works great but didn't really want to use the included VDJ LE so I downloaded the tsi files to use in Traktor.
Everything was working fine on deck A but then i tried deck B and something strange happened! The gain, EQ knobs and line fader on deck B also controlled the same on deck A! Has anyone come across before? Does anyone know of a solution to fix this?
I even tried making my own mapping from scratch but the same thing happened, deck B also controlled deck A! I am well and truly stumped over this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Thanks in advance,

have you checked that you're in external mixing mode in traktor (it's in traktor's preferences).
i dont have a vms2 handy unfortunately.

the preferences look absolutely ok, the audio settings/routing looks good and also the part of the mapping shows nothing that hints to the issue.

however, the symptom you describe is typical for the wrong mixer setting. so just for completion, what happens if you put the vms2 into internal mixing mode? i always was under the impression that the vms2 has to be in external mixing mode too, like the vms4, but maybe i'm wrong.

if the issue then still persists, please contact the ADJ support on this.

Buena suerte

Forgive my English, I'm Spanish. Translate with Google.

If the problem still persists try changing the mode of communication of the knobs, set in relative rather than direct and adjusted until the feel and the tour are on your taste, it also adds a different switch controls for each deck. You can assign two buttons that do not use or will be always active or even a state, such work only if the deck is playing.

This solved a similar problem a controller of another brand, maybe you serve.

good luck
Thanks for the help everyone!
Think I've solved it though and it was something really simple! I the preferences under Audio Setup
it asks for the asio device I tried a few (asio4All and ADJ asio) stuck with ADJ asio. Then it asked for built-in soundcard, naturally I assumed this was gonna be the soundcard in the VMS2 so I chose that. That's when I was having problems with deck B knobs also controlling deck A knobs. Just out of curiousity I changed the setting on built-in soundcard to ADJ Asio and HEY PRESTO! everything is working perfectly (except the pause buttons don't work or illuminate but the tracks can be paused by pressing play again!)
So now I'm a happy DJ! You can listen to some of my recent mixes here http://www.mixcloud.com/richsynfam/
give them a listen and le me know what you think.
Help! So, this is an old thread, but it describes exactly what I am experiencing now with Traktor 2.5 an my VMS2. Everything seems to be working okay except for the right EQ knobs which turn both EQs, right and left. I tried the solution in this thread to no avail... I've been told by customer service there is not a more current firmware than what my unit has (I believe 2.5)... so what am I doing wrong here?
...So I solved the issue of right EQ turning the left ones as well by setting my MIDI Ins and Outs to the VMS2. However, now the volume fader on Deck A is acting as a master and the crossfader 100% to the right acts as a total kill. It's like, almost set up right.. but off just enough to be annoying. Any ideas?
