VMS 4.1 Vinyl Too Quiet

Hey everyone, I purchased the VMS 4.1 with the intent to continue using my vinyl with my controller, but when I attempt to play, the sound is too low. I have the turntable hooked up to midlog 1 and the CH1 rocker switch on the front is set to analog. I'm running Stanton turntables through RCA inputs. I have to crank up the gain, highs, mids, lows, and even the master volume to get any decent sound out of it. It shouldn't be that bad I wouldn't think.

Anyone have any ideas why I'm having troubles?

Actually I figured out the problem. I am running on Traktor Pro, but it was just operator error on my part. I wasn't paying attention when I hooked up the turntable to the back of the VMS4.1. Vinyl turntables must be plugged into midilog 2 and/or 3. I had one of my tables hooked into midilog 1. Once I changed it over to number 2 and changed the switch from line to phono, it worked fine.
