My band is in the process of upgrading our lighting rig and moving to DMX control... we have a Visage chase controller right now and it seems a shame to have to retire it. There are two ports on it to slave to/from other Visage controllers to run them in sync, so I got to thinking that maybe I could do some "creative engineering" and tie the unit into the rest of our system. So... the question is, is anyone familiar with how the external sync ports work on the Visage? I don't have the unit in front of me right now, but if I remember correctly the jacks are 5-pin jacks... is it something as simple as 4 control lines and a common ground where if you were to short a line to ground it turns that channel on? Or am I waaaaay off base? Any info would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance!
