I have a hopefully quick question...I am planning to make the jump from TT's would velocity be the correct jump......Also would I be able to create mix CD's.....also would I be able to mount the units flat like a regular TT setup

u may want to look at the ps2, if you want the same setup as ur tt,

considering velocity is rack dual cd, it's not going to feel the same setup wise as a pair of TTs. PS2s or other equivalent table top cd players will give the same feel on the setup.
