I had proscratch decks but they were somewhat temperamental. Sometimes would have trouble reading cds. The Velocity units use the same technology. Has this problem been addressed/improved with the Velocity players?

PS The same cds worked fine on other players.

Sometimes the Proscratch decks wouldn't read my cds at all or would make a horrible noise when playing them. The easy way out is to suggest that these cds were of inferior quality but they played fine on other cd players. Has this issue been addressed or improved upon with the newer players?
The Velocity and the DCD1000 have been improved in reading CDRs
The Velocity still has a lot of issues with cdr's...this said, the 1000 is actually a champ at reading whatever disc you throw at it.
My velocity sometimes freaks out and cdrs will have alot of static. Strange thing is that I can eject and reload and they will play correctly. Some never play right.
