Hi. I recently purchased 2 UVLED24 lights and planned to use them for a music video that will be filmed in a room in my house.

I just looked up the instruction manual and the warning “NOT FOR RESIDENTIAL USE” has me concerned. Now, I know nothing about voltages and whatnot, so, you’ll have to excuse me if this is a stupid question. Do I have anything to worry about if I were to leave it plugged in for approximately half an hour in my house while we film a scene for the music video?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi that warning is mainly for if it was to be used or installed in an outdoor type install. But for a good 30 mins of use indoors with someone in the room should be fine. Just be cautious about placement and viewing it as high intensity UV can irritate the eyes and sometimes skin. So be sure to read through all the warnings in the manual and do your best to adhere to them.
