Being able to invert pan & tilt on fixtures is a very useful feature : it is then possible to have moving heads panning to a center point for example. The fixtures on the right hand side moving to the left and the fixtures to the left hand side moving to the right.
You can have scans hung upside down on the sealing working together fixture standing up down the floor : you invert tilt & pan and they move the same way .

Please add this feature

In the user guide, page 8, it is written that you can invert the pan or tilt level "Invert X- Inverts the X channel, so when the fader is at 0, the software will output 255 Invert Y- Inverts the Y channel, so when the fader is at 0, the software will output 255 X/Y- Swaps the X and Y channels". You should activate this function in list view of setup tab.
It doesn't seem to work on the Mac version.

Sorry for this : the user manual is not very clear about this matter. The pan &/or tilt invert works WHEN you press the shortcut key shown beside the fixture. It opens the XY grid with inverted values.
It works but it is not handy because cursors are not available when XY grid is opened and because cursors shortcut don't work neither when the grid is active.
The idee is on the right track, but having a on/off button would be more practical.
It does not work : you can't use the cursors AND the invert shortcut key.
Let's say I have 4 scans. Each one of them has the "1" key shortcut activated to activate the X (pan) channel so that I can pan all four together. The two first scans have the "z" key activated as invert X channel because they are hung upside down. If I press "1" shortcut, the DMX values and 4 pan cursors move together but the arrow on the screen disappears.
If I press "1" AND "z" at the same time, the cursors move together, the DMX values are the same in the 4 channel. The arrow disappears and the XY grid is useless.
Conclusion: it would be useful to have a toggle button at the top of each channel inverting the DMX values whenever needed.
the pan and tilt invert is found in the setup window when you place it in "LIST" view on there you can select invert pan and tilt. I verified that in the Dec2012 release (PC) and the Feb release (mac) this function does work correctly

Tanguero...the toggle button you are refering too is not something our design team is looking to add to the program. This is considered a higher level of designing. We are keeping MyDmx2 simple to use for the new designer and new user into DMX....
I've tried the suggested way above with list view today to inert the pan and/or tilt feature on a couple of different fixtures I have in my show with no success. The moving heads and scanners all do the same as before even though I've got the box ticked in list mode to do so.. Is this a bug or it just doesn't work? Would be awesome to have this feature working.
