USB not connecting

Hi there,
I have installed my dmx on two laptops now and when i plug the usb device it the green light lights up constantly, but when i plug the device in my desktop the green light flashes and lets me go into USB mode on it?
I have tried installing and un-installing :-(

Which version of the software are you running? April 30th 2010? Also what are your system specs? Are you on a 32 or 64 bit windows OS? The more details you give us the better. Thanks.

ummmm, i am trying to run the one i have had from new which is now prob 1 year old at least, and i am running 32 bit.

When you launch the software what date does it give you? also i think you need to just download the April 30th 2010 my dmx update from the my dmx product page. i have a link at the bottom of everyone of my posts for the my dmx product page. Please click it. download and install the new April 2010 version. If you run into any problems please let me know.
