USB Controller not recognized

you need to uninstall the program, reinstall the prgram from the link bellow (make sure th interface is CONNECTED before installing)

I am running the beta from Oct. 11. Not sure if the unit was installed before installed. Will do that again.

Do I need any DMX items plugged in for it to be detected?

you need the interface plugged in BEFORE download starts

OK, removed everything (dragged to trash) did a fresh download.
Had the unit plugged in with 1 addressed device connected.
Ran the installer, setup screen opens with no change, still no device detected.

Shows up in the system profiler though as

Intelligent USB DMX interface SIUDI9C
Version 1.11

Perhaps the usb box is bad?

The DMX indicator light just flashes (quickly) constantly whether a dmx device is plugged in or not.

yea, at that point, i would say that the interface is bad

Also having this problem, installed completely with dongle attached... worked fine with previous releases.

when did it fail? once you updated? did you uninstall the old version prior to install of new?

Same Problem Here, just bought the MyUsb DMX 2.0 and plugged it, installed ESA2 ... and not recognized... HELP!

if you have a previous version installed you need to uninstall it and then install the new version.

What do you mean by uninstall? Trash it and re-install it? If so, i already did that..

ok, did older releases work with the interface? or when did you come accross this issue??

I just bought the device, so no previous installation... I tried on two different computer, both on 10.8... same issue

MyDMX 2.0 software doesn't recognize my MyDMX USB controller. I tried on a Mac with your beta version released on Dec 4 and your stable version released on August 28. I also tried it on a WinXP machine with your stable version released on August 28. I know the controller isn't defective because it still works with MyDMX 1.0. Any suggestions?

are you running a mydmx1 interface? if so, it will not work with mydmx2 software

purchased mydmx2.0 worked fine right out the box completed a full show now it wont regonized the interface

Have you tried to quit app, connect the hardware device, wait the fast blinking green led and then launch app again ?

if the above doesnt work, you might need to reinstall the program
