So I took a leap into Lighting programing and caught the lighting bug. Since picking up MYDMX 2.0 I've upgraded my lighting rig with more powerful, and feature rich fixtures. I'm looking to do more detailed programming that MYDMX will not let me do (Although it's been great as a starter point!) So, at the moment, this is what I'm looking to do...

1. Layering of multiple scenes on demand

2. Scene timeline for specific performance programing

3. Flash triggering within a scene without loosing the last step on current scene.

4. More options on effect generator and a Visualizer for presenting clients with a demo of my creativeness.

I'm on a OS X platform. I kinda want to keep it that way. Will Emulation cover my needs, or should I make the jump to CompuShow?

Emulation is set very similar to MyDmx2....Difference is it is designed like a lighting board for users that started on full consoles and moving to computers. Compu Show does a whole lot more, multiple scenes running, flash scenes, flash buttons, midi is more powerfull, art-net, multiple scene touch screens, etc etc it is what i run....coming from a Hog3....i tend to always use compu atleast as my back up (have used it for full concerts before when my large consol went down) very user friendly think you will find it amazing as well
