I helped do a mobile gig last night. My friend used his Ultra Scan 250's for the first time. Oh Man!!! They are great.

I agree completely! I love my two 250's! Plus, you get a free work out hanging them! Look at the money I'm saving not joining a health club!!!

the ultrascan lights are very new FX. the person that you heard that from was probably talking about the Mighty Scan

The Mighty Scan is one of the best intelligent lights on the market. For it's price range it beats anything else on the market. It's smooth, sturdy, onbreakable, well thought out, offers nice control, and works...
If anything needs ot be discontinued it's those damn "DJ Scan" things.

y the Dj Scans..... i own 2 of them and so far they have worked ok for me... i am an idiot and dropped one with the mirror cover on form 9 ft.. only minor scratches.. stupid thing was tuff as nails... altho it is not THE BEST intel light on the market... for 250$ u get a nice little show
Yes, the mirror cover on my DJ Roller is great! Those mirror covers are a neat feature that ADJ put on the roster of specs for the Scan series lighting units. Even many higher end lights don't have this.
