I have 4 fixtures on the back lighting truss. Two on one side and two on the other. I want to invert the pan on the two inside scanners, but they do not have an option built in for that. Selecting invert pan in 3D Visualizer seems to only affect what you see not what the actual fixture is doing. What options do I have short of rewiring the pan motors. FX Manager will not let you set up movers to do different patterns (if I am doing it correctly as I am new to this program).

Thanks!

Don't use overlapping addresses and then program them independently and that should resolve your issues once and for all.

Personally, I'd address all 4 independently so I could do more complex effects later on down the road(say, doing out of phase circles going from left to right or back and forth, in sort of a chase, or doing a swirl into each other, left to right.... all sorts of good stuff)

Inverting the pan in the 3D Visualizer only inverts the pan in the 3D Visualizer. It has no effect on the normal functionality of the fixture.

Short of that, for now, you can address the outside pairs identical and the inside pairs to a different set of identical addresses.
I love the phasing effect in the FX Generator. I use that a lot with my 2 movers.

Today, though, I kept it simple. Right, swing left, swing right, around a circle, repeat that pattern 4 times, then with partially out of phase movers to wrap it up 20th Century Fox style.

I had to bang out and place for time 4 scenes today while doing video exports. Tech rehearsals start tomorrow as soon as I can get everything set. I still need to hammer out some lighting details.

A pair of Mega Panels are in-bound right now. Wish they'd get here sooner, but they won't make it in time for my event. Oh well. The two Mega Panels I have now will replace my Color Fusions for this show. I've already done my show with 4 Mega Panels, so I'll just choose the outside pair for the time being and address accordingly.
