Hi... I want a ADJ crank system 2 but do they go high enough?... i want something that can lift my intels high so they shoot over the crowd... like i want them atleast 4 feet above the crowd, should i just spend 2000 grand on a mobile tech system... with 24 feet across of 8 inch tri truss?.... i was leaning to maintain my all American DJ Products but if they dont meet for what i want... then i am gonna go wit mobile tech cause they go up to 12 feet.

By the way the price differance for these 2 items are big:

ADJ Crank 2 system: $554 (canadian)

Mobile Tech washington co. lifts with 24 feet of tri truss: $1700 (canadian)\

Which system should i pick and why?

Well your comparing apples to oranges there. The mobile tech set up sounds like a great system, but it depends on how big you need, how much you want to spend and how much you want to haul around. I use the crank2 system and it works great. They go up 10' and just to make sure I get the most height out of them, I mount my scanners on the top bar which works great, but that will depend on how heavy your lights are. Either way, it will still be above the crowds heads. You also have the option of adding a triangle truss for the crank2 which is something I'm considering, however, I'm not sure how much more weight they can take. The specs say Weight capacity: 140 lbs./63.5 kg (evenly distributed) I'm already close to that now. My question to anyone there at ADJ who knows, is that rating based on the LTS-50T I-Beams or the stands themselves. Would the capacity go up with sturdier truss?
Anyway, there you have it, if 10ft clearance is good for you, and 10ft width is good for you, and you don't go over the weight limit, then the crank2 system will work great for you. They've been doing great for me. If you need a much larger set up then you may want to go with your other choice.
