Transfer Data From Show Designer To New Controller?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any ADJ/Elation controllers that supported the data from the original Show Designer via MIDI transfer/dump (or any other transfer method). I love my show designer but I would like to upgrade to a newer model without loosing the hundreds of programs that I have put it just to upgrade to a newer model of a controller. Thanks!

here is what our guy said about the SD.
"Unfortunately, Show Designer memory files are not compatible with one another or with any other controller in the Elation product line."

Thanks for checking! Somewhat unfortunate but I guess I'll just stay with my show designers for now, they work great anyway.

Is there any method for documenting what you've done prior? If so, you could, well, relatively easily, replicate them.

In my case, I document as I go, just thinking 2 steps ahead(like, blowing out my DMX Operator out of anger or frustration and wanting to start fresh).

Yeah, I wish that were the case, but I've programed the controller over the past couple of years while adding fixtures. So, I have programs for my Cyberlights, Intellabeams, Accu Spots, and LED color washes. I know one day I'll have to go and re-program, I'm just not planning on having that happen anytime soon (if possible).

When you get the chance, make sure you write down what you did and maybe transfer that to some sort of documentation sheet. We rely too much on technology when sometimes pen and paper is all we need!
