Hello ,

Can someone help me out with some kind of problem I have with my recordings. When I mix live with my Macbook on Traktor pro2 with the VMS4 there is no problem in the audio and everything sounds very nice but when I make a mix recording there is some kind of bug that appears on the recording. The sounds get a bad noise during the mix. No less are in red so it's not a problem of playing to load....
Please listen to the mix ....the problem is around 7 minutes I think but I can't get it solved.....
please listen to : http://soundcloud.com/guy-folie/cellarmix-17-01-2012

I also can't use the volume button on my VMS4 and I can't adjust the volume on the tractor display on my screen;..maybe the wrong kind of mapping ????

Please help me out I will be very thankful !!!!

Greetings from Belgium... Grts Guy Folie

Hi Guy
If you can't control Traktors interface on screen this won't be because of the mapping it will be an issue with Traktor. I would start by making sure you have all the latest updates, then check your latency settings. Also, make sure you turn off all the background program's like your firewall, anti-virus, wifi, basically anything you don't need.
I not sure which Mac you've got but 4gb RAM would be advisable
There seems to be some peaking of the sound before the first distortion at around 8.09mins.
There's a drop in sound around 59sec unless it's the mix and a second distorted section at around 22.34mins. As you sound output from the controller doesn't go back to the laptop I leaning toward a software, latency or memory issue. i'm not a Mac user but had a few issues with Traktor until I fitted more RAM now I'm good to go. No more programme freezing or sound issues. The next time you mixing keep an eye on the CPU metre at the top.
If you search the net you may find a programme to disable all non-essential programmes by clicking a single button for when your unsung Traktor.
Other than that visit DJ Techtools for advice, it's the best place to go if your unsung midi controllers.
