I am looking for some trade show lighting for our booth. We are looking at the American DJ H20 to have a wave type effect displayed on our booth. (this would be more in our price range) However, I called American DJ and they recommended the Elation Waterfall 250 - that comes out in Dec. (not in our price range though)

My question, has anyone tried using these type of fixtures in a convention center setting that is bright? Would you be able to see the waves if displayed on to a backdrop? Any suggestions?

Any help is so appreciated!

I have done my share of conventions before.

so you want a water rip effect?

well This is my little advice to you.....

either know you might think of the h2o fitting your budget I have to ask you this
after this convention will you use these lights again? probably not so why buy lights?

for the same cost you can rent a 250watt moving head and even have some custom gobos with your company name on them.

this will give you a water effect better and brighter then the h2o plus you can do alot more with it.

And about darkining your booth, well if you have the budget to buy all the screens and stands then you got the budget to rent some M550's and youll get so much more...plus you wont need the screen cause they are that bright.

explore your options, if you have any questions email me at bhd812@aol.com

i help you out
