Tough crowd!

Your kidding right.... If that is the case, trusth me you will hear from them again. There are more dj's with less equipment going out doing gig's. Once they call you back $$$ "well our price just recently when up one hundred... Give us a call back if your interested. That is alot of gear to haul.

GISO, if you want to know some great lights that arent american dj, send me a private msg with your e mail in it.

Were they complaing on the lack of light, or that there was too much light? He surely doesn't have all these lights going at once, does he?

Well GISO... This audience obviously doesn't know a good dj when they see one. They must be pretty spoiled if they still complained about that awesome light show of yours.... don't worry about idiots like them..... I would tell them to screw off and when they decide that they can't find a better dj, they will call you and just raise the price much higher, and see how THEY LIKE IT, HAHA.... that would be funny.

haha yeah that would be funny, i totally agree with you!

they were a bunch a really rich preepy kids, 14-18. they just plain old didnt like the lighting. they loved the music, but said that the lights blew. It's funny, cause the owner of the company is 22, and is one of those little rich kids. he still lives at home, so his dad gives him whatever he wants.

Oh so they want to waste money eh? Make em get a couple Elation COLOR SPOT 575's... That'll keep them quiet for some time...

if ya had those on it would prob. give everyone a headache. Also try some plain parcans or color changers that u can control, you adjust them to the music and beat (with the flash bottons)

Ask them if they think they could do a better job! tell them the price for all the equipment! maybe then they would think twice!

Mike has a point! Good business man would look for his or her error. Don't just blow them off

The complainers will ALWAYS complain. It's just the put down mentality. I'm curious about the source of the complaints- was just a couple of whiners, or did you get intelligent feedback from a group that had hired other DJ's? Don't go changing out thousands of $ of lights, because the complainers will then whine about the fog!

Some advice: If you've got a kick ass light show, next time you do this gig, hire a photographer to get some great shots and use these to market yourself to other groups.

Raise your price for the whiners- a lot.

Oh and I forgot to mention something important- tweak up the photos with Photoshop or some other photo editing program. By adjusting levels and contrast you can show the fog effects with everything being grayed out by the mist.
