The touch screen works just like a mouse, except it is your finger doing the pointing and clicking. You can use a mouse and touch screen at the same time.

How useful it will be on MyDMX, I can't really say. I know for my Hog, I use the touch screens almost exclusively over the mouse, it is just faster. The Hog interface is also setup with touch screens in mind, MyDMX isn't. Just some food for thought.
We are attempting to use an HP touchsmart with the application. That said, the first problem we have encountered is the 64 bit vista issue and the drivers for the dongle (check the other thread for this). However, when the dongle is not attached, we can control the faders with our finger, etc. It is not multitouch though. While we can do some multi-touch things within the HP software for pictures, etc., applications need to be written that can process more than one "pointer" input at a time. I am a complete convert to touch screen. The ultimate goal is to use the technology with an application like ProTools and move multiple faders at once. Right now, we can not do that with MyDMX even in demo mode, but again, the 64 bit may be the first hurdle.
