Here is a quote from the DP-DMX20L user manual.

"This pack is designed for zero-crossing circuitry which protects against inductive loads, so it is safe for use with all lighting effects that include tranformers such as pin spots."

I always thought it was bad to dim lights with tranformers. Can someone please expalain this. Smiler

Without getting too deep into tech garb. Zero crossing simply means that when the AC sine wave crosses the 0 Volt and reverses direction this pack compensates for a DC component in which many packs do not. Any DC causes inductive loads to heat up which is what casses the transformers to fail
