basically this is the 3rd unit i have recieved now and everything looks sweet as the paint doesnt fade anymore which is great and seems to be a bit more sturdy - but the sound? what is going on i just dont get it how can i have 3 brand new units with all diffrent problems? guess there loads lol anyways basically everything works fine with regards to using the unit in traktor with mp3s the sound is lovely its just when i switch it to analog through my technics it goes all muffled? now i checked my speakers nope there fine because it works with brilliant sound in windows through the vms 4 with and without using traktor. so maybe the decks? so i plugged in my ******* djm 600 and wired decks up nope both decks perfect with same vinyl i used when connected to vms 4 i also plugged me old bcd3000 into the decks and switched to external to use the decks and hey presto sounding crisp. why me lol i just dont get it why all these problems maybe im just unlucky. anyways looks like this maybe returned to adj aswell lol unless anyone knows quick and easy fix? Confused

ive had 3 different vms4`s with all different faults not the same as each other the last 2 were fine with using analog devices through it they just had other problems like paint fading and vu meter led`s going anyway ive spoke to the place ive bought it from and there gonna replace it so fingers crossed this next unit will be ok otherwise thats it for me no more vms4`s
Yup for sure!

My NYE gig, with a dance floor of about 150 people doing the cupid shuffle, I load Cha-cha slide up on Deck B, press the cue button and it gets stuck under the case and won't play. I start getting frantic as the seconds tick by, holding the cue button I get a studder as it clicks plays for a bit with the correct pressure but moving my finger around it stops and restarts.

Luckily I had the mic handy got on it and loaded it up on Deck A with only a second of silence, with the 6 minute version I was able to get the button unstuck but if I wouldn't of spent so much money on this POS I wouldn't have it anymore.

This latest problem started with the wedding the night before, but I didn't really realize what was going on at first, until NYE.

This is among a list of problems I have had. It is a ticking time bomb waiting to blow up in my face.

I DJed with two others in a full to cap bar in december, I was the only one having issues cueing in my headphones. How sad is that? Sergio was nice enough to send me some ADJ headphones but they didn't redeem the volume issue, but I would certainly buy another pair of those.

Really sucks because I like the format, style and all the features of the VMS4, none of that matters when things don't work Frowner

Thats correct. Couldn't think of the right wording for it :P I noticed now on the same side I have to push the headphone CUE button much harder than the other 3 as well. I haven't cracked it open yet but something is not right. All the buttons feel solid still but just don't go down correctly when pushed.

They don't take phone calls for the VMS4 lol, just a ticket and wait in line to mail it back to them to 'fix' it.

At this point I am not that worried about it anymore. Used NS6 products are nearing the price of a VMS4.1 so thats probably the route I will go, probably sell this VSM4 to the next person. Really sucks because I actually like a LOT on the VMS4 but when buttons are failing and I can't hear my headphones, its going to hold me back.
