They must have just put the lights in the stadium for the super bowl because I have been to Qualcomm Stadium hundreds of times for padre games. Howver i have never been to a charger game. Those lights had to be at least 1500 watts because it was still light out and you were still able to see the colors. And I was very dissappointed with the haftime show. Can you say...boring?

same here with me. i think the lights on the stands came from High-end lighting correct me if i'm wrong.
yea, i cant say to much for the show but the lighting was way cool! also the screen that they danced on was pretty cool, but they could have had a better stage set up with more lighting on the stage and could have used better SINGERS, umm cough cough NO DOUT SUCKS A** cough cough

I can, it's an offset sine wave pattern on the pan channel, easily created with most pro moving light consoles. The lights move back and forth slightly behind the one before them and ahead of the one after them. It did look great, especially because they were in a giant oval around the press level.
lsd/fourth phase said that they couldn't do as much as they would like to since it would still be daylight when the halftime show aired. it was high end lights and they used whole hog ii's (yeah) to control them. there is a whole article about it on high ends website under news.
