Sunray Tri Led DMX Coverage

I am having trouble getting good coverage in some venues. Does the Sunray Tri LED have to be mounted up or down, or can it be mounted on the front face of the trussing? I get a lot better coverage but dont want to hurt the motor. Also, has anyone experienced motor noise at certain speeds? Thanks everyone.

In an ideal world, you can mount it any position, hanging down, sitting on its base, or sideways off a truss.

I have the older Sunray III, works fine, but I rarely use it anymore as I'm onto LED's now for shows, and I don't use my high-tech FX much these days.

Thanks, Chris. I mounted it to the front of the truss and it worked great for a wedding this weekend with no problems. Thanks again for the info.
