Sound Problem

I have a 2.1GHZ duo core proceesor with 4 gigs of ram and i'm using windows 7 64Bit. I have all my music on a external hard drive. While a song is playing on one deck and I load a song on the other the deck that is playing slows down and distorts. I also noticed the CPU useage goes way up. I have scanned my hard drive for the tagsand BPMs. Has anyone else had this type of problem??

Unplug your VMS4 and run Virtual DJ out of your laptop sound card , let mw know if your having the same problem . Just want to see first if this only happens when you have your VMS4 hooked up

the program wi;; not run without the vms4 connected to the computer

What you might want to try, is setting the Midi latency to a higher amount. The manual says that it should be set to either 1ms or 10ms.. but my experience is that around 25ms to 30ms works best.

This can be done with the ADJ Asio driver.

Unless you are using timecodes on the VMS4... you wont have problems using higher latencies on the ASIO driver... even 40ms shouldn´t be a problem.
