Hello together,

First I want to excuse me for my bad English, it’s not my mother language, but I’m still working on it Wink

We’re actually searching a DMX software for PC and due the attractive price of the MyDMX software it could be an option for us. The soft will be used mostly time for small parties.

I’ve just worked 2 hours with this nice soft on my PC and it makes nearly all things we need, but there are some things we’re missing:

- is it possible to modify the fade time during the playing of a scene? Preferably with the keyboard and not with the mouse. For example: reduce the fade time with the key “-“ and prolong it with the key ”+”. At the moment I only found the possibility to modify the programming of the scene, of manually for each scanner using HTP or LTP (but I will need it for all scanners together)

- starts 2 scenes at the same time. Example: scene 1 controls some scanners and scene 2 controls moving heads and you don’t want create scene 3 which makes both together. So you simply starts the 2 scenes at the same time.

- During the play time of a scene; put all scanner/moving heads at the same time in strobe without stopping the movements of the scene

I hope you +- understand what I mean :-)

Thx a lot, Ribo

ribo welcome to the forums. Unfortunatetly some of those things you listed are not possible on my dmx. Like the ability to speed up or slow down the scene as it is playing back, can't do that, also the ability to trigger more than one scene at a time can't do that either. and your last concern: that may work by using LTP on those scanners and using the preset function. Putting just those scanners you want in the strobe on the LTP setting. Also all these features and more are available on our compu 1024ec. Which depending where you buy it from is affordable compared to other softwares out there. Sincerely,
Thanks for answering Jingles,

It's a pity that the myDMX soft can’t do this :-( Unfortunately these functions are necessary for our little dj team.

The compu 1024ec explodes our budget, so I think we‘re going to look after something other :-/

But thanks for your help

Sincerely, ribo
