I've read a couple posts about people setting off fire alarms with their smoke machines, I'm looking for more feedback from people about this topic... are there any certain types of alarms that the smoke produced by the machines will not trigger? If the smoke level is kept very minimal just enough to see beams of light will it still trip a fire alarm? Thanks for your time guys

The older type system that works off heat, you know the sprinkler with the heat sensor in the middle, will not be set off by fog or haze machines, most building newer one that are build are protected by smoke alarm and fire, so as the gadget reads a certain amount of air particles (fog and haze), it triggers the alarm, hence no water comes out of the sprinkler systems, just the alarm. Now for the bad news, If the system is connected to the fire department, only the fire department can shut off the alarm, hence a FINE for false alarm. So be safe as before you employ your fog or haze machine or it can be a costly gig.
