small concert/theater lighting

can anyone help me with the set-up i am thinking aobut... I am just new to this stuff and I don't have my director to back me up... plssssssss

Par 38's are just floodlights, so you dont even have to buy the parcan, but get a clamp light. But I'd go with Par 56's and Par16's (with the little MR-16 bulbs). they give off a sea-shell design from the bulb, and you can get a lot of them for a good price, and use them for coloring. the 46's could be your main white light. I would also get a few par38's for coloring, because you might want it somewhere else too. Or, get 4 Rainbow 250's, set them to wash, and you can change your colors, and dim them.
