I have tried several differnt lights on my new unit, and none of them will respond. I have set all of them to address #1, so there should not an addressing issue.Is there a way that I can check to see if a signal is getting through the unit. I plug into USB and the unit lights up, but nothing seems to respond.
I am wondering if the unit is defective.

are you running MyDmx 1.0 or 2.0

I just bought the 2.0 package for a new location. I am still using 1.0 in a different location, but this is a new location, and I just bought a new dongle to start setting up the lights.
I have changed the DMX cable, and still can not get the lights to respond. I have a light on the dongle, so I am getting power to the unit via the USB, but I do not know if there is a signal coming out.

I have checked the dongle with three different lights, and changed the dmx cable and still no results.
any other ideas?

the problem was a driver issue,I downloaded the drivers from the ADJ site and that seems to fix the problem.
