I purchased a showdesigner about 2-3 yrs ago. I was told than one could download updates from the web but I can't seem to figure out how. Can any one help?

On this page Show Designer go the the update section towards the bottom. You can update if you have version 2.0 or better( It shows in the window when you turn it on). If you have 1.XX you need to send it into us in order to upgrade to 2.XX or better

I got it downloaded and figured out the connection but I can't figure out the hyper terminal it speaks of. All I am seeing after unzipping is a bunch of jibberish code. I cant get to the transfer menu or anything. so I must be doing somrthing wrong
