Show Designer Software Update

What exactly is updated in the Show Designer updates? Is it just more fixtures added or are there other things updated to make the controller more efficient? Would like to know, cause I don't want to take my Designer out of the rack to just add new fixtures that I don't need.

generally that is all that is added. Some have updated presets in the older fixtures. you can always update in the rack.

I can't update in my rack, theres only a 2" hole in the back for cords to go in, I cant get my hand in to hook up the computer cable!

If that's all it is, then I wont bother. Would it be possible in the future to update it so when your programing and you move a slider it gives you a numeric value for where that slider is set? This could be very usefull for setting speeds and colors etc... Is this something that would even be possible to add?

it already does that ,it will read the value as you move it then go back to the generic readout. By the way you should use the color/gobo presets. to set Colors ,gobos, speeds what ever you want. That way you always get to the same setting faster.
