show designer problem? will not boot up?

The green light comes on the LCD panel with square blocks across the top row and nothing on the bottom row. It was working fine and then all of a sudden this happened. I looked at my power supply and the wire had ripped causing the +/- to probably touch. I tried another power supply and got the same thing.

go to the elationLSC forum. Sounds like a a smal power supply. To little milliamps or voltage

i have 2 american dj show designers. i was at a rave once and had the same problem. there wasn't enough power to the unit.the circuit i was using was maxed out. the show d needs clean power to operate. also make sure your using the right power supply. the one you have might be dropping in volts or millwatts.never run the show d with any amps or any audio products. use a different circuit with other lighting.
