I have a first generation SHOW DESIGNER controller that I've been using with some "legacy" ADJ products, such as X-TREME A/S scanners, RADD moonflowers, and BAR-T-CUEs. I really like the ShowDesigner due to the built-in factory chases and beat button for tempo-matching (I work mostly with live bands rather than traditional DJ)...
I've recently added to my fixture collection some Cha_vet LEGEND 150R moving heads, but the Show Designer fixture library doesn't have any fixtures from this mfr..... why? It's running the v2.11 software - what other fixture would ADJ recommend I choose to control the Legend, or how can I add to the existing fixture library?
The Legend is a 6 channel fixture, pretty similar to the Auto-Spot I think, but with different channel assignments:
1 - Dimmer
2 - Gobo
3 - Rotation
4 - Color
5 - Pan
6 - Tilt
Any suggestions out there?
ALSO from time to time, my ShowDesigner just "freaks out" and displays random gibberish on the LCD, refuses to record or recall any scenes, fixture selections randomly do weird things, sometimes there is a LONG delay between moving a fader and the desired response, etc. I've sent it in to ADJ service twice now and invested $$$ but the problem is happening more and more frequently since they last worked on it. I really hate to give it up.. what to do?

PS: Common troubleshooting has been performed - cables are OK and the total DMX run is usually 50' - 100' with no more than 8 total devices, usually the last one being an X-Treme A/S with termination enabled.
