Hello,
I am in need of a larger strobe light. I currently have an American DJ Big Shot 45W strobe and it is just not bright enough for my mobile setup. I was looking at the SnapShot2 but I am thinking that 70W may still not be enough. I was wondering what everyone thought of the Neutron Star? I think it would be plenty bright at 750W, but would it be too bright? Would it blow the fuse at the local bar when I turn it on? I just use my Big Shot with my 8 port light switch (I am in no need of DMX), would this handle the power? Any other suggestions and information would be appreciated. Thanks!

this is very true and it is a good strobe i've seen it in action. EXTREMELY BRIGHT!
Just to let you all know, I did purchase the Neutron Star Strobe Light and I love it. I was having problems with my other strobe light not being bright enough to be effective when I was running my other lights at the same time. Now even when I have my ADJ Mystic on, which is actually *too* bright for my mobile setup, the Neutron is still bright enough to be effective. I especially love using it in certain parts of songs....it really gets people going. Big Grin Used it for the first time new years eve. It was the biggest crowd I have ever played for, it was great!
good god, mary and little baby jesus, why would you choose a neutron star over a mega strobe? the controllers for the mega are bad@$$. i don't think that strobes pull that much power...that is why there are capacitors in them. its thier job to pull power at a slower more consistant rate and then release it instantaneously. i run 2 mega strobes with all my other equipment and i have yet to trip a 15amp breaker. controllers make it a whole new ball game, strobes by themselves are boring, hook up a nice controller that will flash to the beat and control dimming..then you are talking
