True testimony,
On August 24 2005, during a High School lights demonstration using 4 Accu Spot 250, I notice light number 3 in my system was not rotating (pan from left to right) at 10:30 A.M. I call my local dealer to get the American D.J. company phone number to speak with a tech. I called and talked with the tech from ADJ, who was with a wealth of knowledge on my setup, I am using 3 pocket scans, 4 accu spots, and the show designer 1 to control them all, he walk me back and forth trouble shooting the 3rd light in the link, as well as the show designer 1, We concluded that the accu spot was malfunctioning, he then gave me a return authorization number, and we ended our call. I did my presentation with 3 accu spots, and 3 pocket scans and got the contract. The problem so I thought was what to do now with a event coming on the 2nd of September, My Accu Spots are the highlight of my light show, the show will have to go on with only three. I sent the light in question off to the company located in, you know California, on Monday the 29th of August, I had figured that it'll be back around at least 20th of September in time for the light show I'm doing on the 30th of September. Sent it overnight at a rate of 98 dollars, turned out to be the best 98 dollars I spent in a long time. on Friday the 2nd of September about 10:30 the UPS, truck drop off a big box, my wife was like what did you buy now, I said nothing, she said there's a big box down stairs, I went to take a look and it was the Accu Spot 250 returned from the company, I said to myself no way, what did I forget to do or send, I included a description of the problem, the reciept clearly showing that it was under warranty, and the R.A. number!
What could have went wrong, look at the shipping label and it stated that the light had been cleaned and repaired with no charges. I had a event schedule later that day, hooked up the light in question and it performed flawless. I did not mention the tech name because sometimes that brings more problems than help, I will mention my R.A. number was 23184
so to all the techs involved as well as the company itself, you have my loyal support in all your products, service, warranty, and repair abillities. Keep up the service an I'll keep buying and recommending to fellow D.J.s to buy American D.J. products! Smiler
