Scene Builder - Effects

I have 3 Quad Scan Pro Fixtures running on 32 channel mode each. I want to control my PANs/TILTs with the Curve Effect and have selected all 12 fixtures (3 x 4 mirrors) from the drop menu "Fixtures Playing the Effect". I then open the "Channels Playing the Effect" and only see "Pan Mirror #1 and Tilt Mirror #1". While in the Scene Builder all 12 mirrors respond to the effect. When I save the scene and playback in LIVE only Mirror #1 of each fixture displays the effect. The other Mirrors 2,3,4 on each fixture are not responding. Is it possible the Fixture Profile update got these channels messed up?

Hi James, Still working at getting all the X/Y channels to play the effect created. On a tangent, I added a 4th Quad Scan Pro to the truss and might be messing up with my intent. I wanted to DMX address it next to the other 3 Quads but found that when I readdressed the rest of my fixtures it totally messed up my programed scenes. Any thought or input would be much appreciated "oh wise one". I just wanted the mixer to have everything grouped together.

What do you mean by "messed up" the others? did you delete or remove any fixtures from the patch grid? If you did, that deletes all programming tied to those addresses, might aswell start over if you do that. you CAN drag around a already patched profile around the patch grid to change the address and the programming follows it.

Morning James. I did patch in the Quad Scan as a 4 x 8 and success! I am now having the scenes X/Y features exactly the way I need it, Thanks! I'll be viewing your tutorials and see what I did wrong with the fixtures on the grid. I'll keep you posted. Again, thanks for your patience on helping me develop my knowledge skills.

Understanding better and things are coming together James. Your videos had some additional info that helped. I am now using the Quad Scan PRO 32ch x4 profile which meets my needs.

However I am wondering if the Quad Scan lights can be inverted? Currently the fixture has the lights run from right to left, but the mixer on my laptop is showing from left to right. Can this be edited in the fixture profile section of the scan library? I would like to have both synced as left to right.
