SCANTRON PROBLEM!!!

I went to turn on one of my scantrons and the light wasnt working. So i looked in the user instructions i tried what it said to do , but nothing ,

So i opened the bulb area , to see if the bulb was secure in the socket and the light crumbled (the white powder stuff)

I dont know what to do

I am very upset. I have had american dj products in the past and very pleased with them , but these 2 scantrons i recently purchased have been nothing but problems!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any advice please. if this bulb problem is normal or its because its been used ?

THESE ARE 1 MONTH OLD LIGHTS. I HAVENT EVEN USED THEM THAT MUCH.
