Webbie, Do you have a link to the user manual in PDF form so i may look at the DMX traits and see if i have a profile made for this fixture? Welcome to the forums.

No I had thought the user manual was downloaded when I downloaded the software but I can't see it on my pc. How do I get it?

Hi Jingles Webbie here again.
I have gone onto the website and found the myDMX User Manual Version 1.0 and downloaded the pdf.
I'll have a look through this and see if it explains what to do. I don't yet have the full version of myDMX as I wanted to check out the demo mode to make sure my lights would work with it before shelling out the loot.

Hi I have just bought a couple of LEDJ LED PAR 36 Cans. can you also set up a profile for these or let me know an alternative which is already set up which would work?

Webbie, the file i sent you has to go into a folder in this file path.
C:\myDMX\ScanLibrary then find the company folder and place the ssl file i sent you in the folder. If no folder exist for that brand then you can simply make one by right clicking in the window and select new folder and then label it.

Ok thanks. I did manage to save it into the library. On another issue can myDMX be set up to operate by responding to sound? ie in Sound to Light mode?

glad you got the profile in place.
sorry but no My DMX does not have a sound to light function. This can only be achieved if your fixtures have a sound active dmx trait and even then they are using their own mics for sound active. so, no sound to light as a software function is not present in my dmx.
