a couple weeks ago i saw some pocketscans on directv i think it was on ESPN sports... but i saw the pocket scan. i think there were at least 15 or more there at this small bowling alley in central texas, i think they has some of the ADJ snapshots too. this was during a tournament there and this was highly unexpected for me to see those lights. but you want to know something weird... during the end of the tournament they turned the celing lights off... black lights came on then the pocket scans were on and they were doing some of the sweetest FX that i have ever seen... in my life with those lights. but thought when the lights came on they were doing the end credits of the show... telling where it was at and all of that sorta' stuff.

Wink telling me that ADJ is stepping up.

i'm not surpised at this at all.

remember the way lighting designer think, which is what fits rite what has the options i need and what budget can we spend.

I have done some nice rock shows useing anywhere from 24-50 pocket scans. for the price of one higher end light i can rent 4 pocket scans.

those lights might have a small lamp but they have alot of effects and when you have like 24 of them then that is a powerful setup in any case.

plus the people who do these shows dont one the lights them selves so quality in the long run is not much of a concern, also you can have alot of back up units just in case.

also one more point is the size and the touring case adj sells for these, its cheap and small i love it
