how to i save the show to the box so i dont have to have my laptop connected for the show to play?

I'm not sure if anyone else was intending to answer this, but the short answer is no, the myDMX 'box' does not have a self-contained memory system to capture a show and allow it to be run independent of the myDMX 2.0 software. The box is an electronic device that translates the software output code into distinct DMX commands to the DMX universe it is connected to. Without a USB connection to a computer running the program, the box will just sit there looking pretty and nothing else.
